Sydney is the owner of and a choreographer for Sydney's Art in Motion. She was on the Norman High Pom Squad and was part of the Norman Ballet Company's "The Oklahoma Nutcracker" for three years. She has been a dancer for 18 years and been in competitions for most of her life. As a choreographer, she has won numerous choreography awards at competitions and her dancers have placed in first place and the top three at Owa Chita Talent Competition, Talent on Parade, and Odyssey. Sydney teaches a wide variety of dance styles that include, jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, pom, hip hop, musical theater, ethnic, and creative movements. Her favorite part about teaching is watching students grow into dancers and artists.
